The Hunchback of Notre Dame
THAT YOU MAY BECOME AS DEAF AS I AM! (Quasimodo)
1482. A luminous, red-clad figure enters the city through the Gibard gate. They will influence the movement of the masses that gush daily through the streets of Paris. In a dark and forgotten nook in the highest tower of the cathedral someone’s hand has engraved the word ‘doom’ in Greek capital letters into the wall…Any last shred of hope seems lost. History is turning in a circle; the chime of the bells rings quietly in an endless loop. Everything set back to start. Ding dong.
